God, says Jeong, is merely cleansing the Earth of sin, and what harm is that? Jin and his partner interview Jeong, and whaddaya know? He’s a bit of an oddball. The world doesn’t know what to believe.ĭetective Jin Kyeong-hoon (Yang Ik-june) is assigned to the case and, after visiting the crime scene, finds his daughter, Jin Hee-jeong (Lee Re), hanging around with the aforementioned society chief. The poor chap tries to leg it, but the angels catch up, smashing him to bits and burning his body to a crisp before exiting through some otherworldly portal. Those dreadful death angels - towering and terrifying Hulk-like figures, with giant fists and vicious tempers - swing by for the beatdown to end all beatdowns. Meanwhile, in the corner of the coffee house, some poor bloke is sweating, staring at his phone. When the time comes, these “executors of hell” show up and that’s when things get gnarly. According to Jeong, the angels appear first to prophesy a person’s death.
